Ango - Spring Practice Period

Zen practice periods are a time to deepen your personal practice while also bring it into your daily life.
Take this time to loosen up your everyday life. Go a little deep in your practice. Settle in for summer. You can also consider increasing your daily zazen, community service, body practice in the outdoors like walking or singing, and of course, practice discussion with your teacher.
We will be studying the poem "Song of the Grass-roof Hut" by Shitou using Ben Connelly's books "Inside the Grass Hut".
We will also have additional morning sitting via Zoom:
  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 7:30am - 8:00 (8:15 on Fridays for quick chanting)
  • Tuesday/Thursday: 6:15am - 6:45
Please click here to join the online sitting.
In addition to daily sitting we will have a half-day and full-day wall gazing days.
  • Saturday May 31st, 7am - 12pm (Half-day sit @ Dharmakaya)
  • Saturday June 21st, all day, (Graeagle Ca, and include sitting and hiking, details TBA)
